Delete your account

Effective October 12, 2026

This page explains how to delete your account for Glint, the quiz app published by The Expressionary LLC, and what happens to your data when you do. You can delete your account from inside the app, or by email if you no longer have the app.

Before you delete

Deleting your account does not cancel a Glint Plus subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, and only you can cancel them. If you have a subscription or a free trial, cancel it first:

Deletion is permanent. Your progress, streak, badges, Sparks and saved quizzes cannot be restored afterwards.

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open Glint and go to the Account tab.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
  3. Type Delete my account in the confirmation box. If you signed up with an email address, also enter your password.
  4. Tap Delete account permanently. If you sign in with Google or Apple, you will be asked to sign in once more to confirm it is you.

Your account and database records are deleted immediately and you are signed out. Uploaded photos are queued for removal from file storage; the cleanup runs every five minutes and retries temporary failures. Cached copies on devices or content-delivery networks may take longer to expire.

Delete your account without the app

Send an email to support@oneglint.app from the email address on your Glint account, with the subject "Delete my Glint account". Include your Glint username if you remember it.

We may reply to confirm that the request comes from the account holder. We delete the account within 30 days of receiving your request and email you when it is done. If you used Sign in with Apple with the "Hide My Email" option, tell us your Glint username so that we can find the account.

What is deleted

Whichever way you ask, these are deleted permanently:

You also disappear from search, friends lists and leaderboards.

What is kept

Records held by Apple and Google

Apple and Google keep their own records of your purchases and subscriptions under their own privacy policies. We cannot delete those. If you signed in with Apple or Google, you can also remove Glint from the list of apps connected to that account in your Apple or Google account settings.
