Glint

Terms of Use

Effective October 12, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and The Expressionary LLC for your use of the Glint quiz app and its related services ("Glint"). Please read them. They are written to be understood.

1. Who we are and how you accept

Glint is operated by The Expressionary LLC, 7901 4th St N Ste 23613, Saint Petersburg, FL, US ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using Glint, you agree to these terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Glint.

2. Who can use Glint

You must be 13 or older to use Glint. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Glint only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these terms on your behalf. The app asks for your date of birth, and you must give your real one.

3. Your account

4. Glint Plus subscriptions

Glint is free to use. Glint Plus is an optional paid subscription.

What you get

Replaying or reviewing a quiz you have already saved does not count against these limits. We may change what each plan includes, and will update these terms when we do.

Price, free trial and billing

Managing and cancelling

You manage and cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings, not through us. Deleting the app or your Glint account does not cancel it. When you cancel, you keep Glint Plus until the end of the period you have paid for.

Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple or Google. Refund requests are handled by the store you bought from, under its refund policy. We do not process payments and cannot issue refunds ourselves, except where the law requires us to.

5. AI-generated content

Quiz questions, answers and explanations in Glint are generated by artificial intelligence. They can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Glint is for learning and entertainment. Nothing in it is medical, legal, financial or other professional advice, and you should not rely on it for decisions that matter. Check important facts against a reliable source.

If you see a question that is wrong or inappropriate, you can report it in the app (see section 7). We review these reports.

6. Acceptable use and your content

Glint lets you choose a username, a display name and a profile photo, and type topics for quizzes. Other players can see your username, display name and photo. You are responsible for what you submit.

We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You must not use Glint to post, upload or send anything, or use a name or photo, that:

You must also not:

How we enforce this

Licence for your content

You keep whatever rights you have in your username, display name and profile photo. You give us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce and display them inside Glint, to other players, for as long as they are on your account, so that the app can work. Topics you type are used to generate quizzes, and the resulting quizzes may be shown to other players.

7. Reporting and blocking

Reporting or blocking a player

Open a player's profile from your friends list, search results or the leaderboard and choose Report or block player. You can also use this action on social notifications, including friend requests and challenges. Blocking hides that player's profile and social activity from you and stops them from sending you friend requests, nudges, gifts or challenges. You can see and manage your blocks from Account > Blocked players. Unblocking does not restore a friendship or cancelled requests.

Reporting a question

You can report a question from the question itself during play, and from the explanation and review screens.

You can also reach us at any time at support@oneglint.app. Do not make reports you know to be false.

8. XP, Sparks, streaks and badges

XP, Sparks, streaks, streak freezes, badges and other in-app items are features of the game. They have no cash value, cannot be bought with or exchanged for money, and are not your property. They cannot be sold or transferred, except by using the gift feature inside Glint. We may change, rebalance or reset them, and they are removed when your account is deleted or closed.

9. Our app and your licence to use it

Glint, including its software, design, artwork, mascots, sounds, text and the "Glint" name, belongs to The Expressionary LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. As long as you follow these terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Glint on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or rent Glint, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows this despite these terms. All rights not granted here are reserved.

10. If you got Glint from the App Store

These terms sit alongside Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement; they do not replace it. Copies of Glint obtained from the App Store are also licensed to you under that agreement, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. If the two conflict on the licence to use the app, Apple's agreement applies to that point.

These terms are between you and The Expressionary LLC, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Glint or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and is not responsible for claims relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

11. If you got Glint from Google Play

Copies of Glint obtained from Google Play are also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. These terms are between you and The Expressionary LLC, not Google, and Google is not responsible for Glint or its content.

12. Ending this agreement

By you. You can stop using Glint at any time, and you can delete your account in the app or by email. The steps are on the account deletion page. Remember to cancel any subscription in your store account.

By us. We may suspend or close your account, or limit what you can do, if you break these terms, if we need to in order to protect other players or the service, or if the law requires it. If we close your account for breaking these terms, you are not entitled to a refund from us and you may not open another account.

What continues. Sections 5, 8, 9, 13, 14 and 15, the licence for your content to the extent needed to remove it, and anything else that by its nature should continue, remain in effect after this agreement ends.

13. Disclaimers

Glint is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not promise that Glint will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors, that quiz content will be correct, or that your progress will never be lost. We may change or discontinue features at any time.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, The Expressionary LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of Glint. Our total liability for any claim relating to Glint is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for Glint Plus in the 12 months before the claim arose, or US $50.

Some places do not allow certain warranties to be excluded or liability to be limited in these ways. In those places, these limits apply only as far as the law allows, and nothing in these terms takes away rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless the consumer protection law of the place where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Glint changes. We will post the new version here and update the effective date, and we will tell you in the app or by other appropriate means if a change is significant. If you keep using Glint after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree, stop using Glint and delete your account.

17. General

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a term, that is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours as part of a merger, sale or reorganization of the business.
